Who am I? Why... I am me... While this statement may sound strange it is profound , at least to me. It's not easy to find out who you really are and then live it... and then share it in hopes of supporting folks around the world in their creative journey. I am an artist, a teacher, storyteller and avid adventurer. A creative soul who loves art, life and people. I teach art (public school k-12 ~ 20+ years) on Long Island NY, and guide Creative Workshops, Retreats and am a Certified Morning Altars® Guide and Teacher.
I've been a creative adventurer since before I could walk, thanks to my hippie parents! While not all the paths I have taken have led me to where I thought I wanted to go they have added layers of wisdom and expierience to my internal roadmap, my GPS and life.
Yep That's me, the one in the stripes licking the marshmallow off my fingers. My parents to the right and our good friend and fellow adveturer in front of me (her husband taking the photo). We were in the middle of the Mohave desert on one of our many months long treks around North America. I guess you could call it a Macroadventure, most definitley not a micro, sleeping in a tent and hiking miles into secluded untouched backwoods America for weeks on end. My parents were also incredibly creative. My mom artist (different job titles but all creative) and daughter of an acclaimed violin maker and my dad a chef and tinkerer. And then there were their eclectic friends, many artistic creative souls surrounded us with their love, musings and humor.
